« We made it.

I missed another post yesterday and barely have anything to write today as well! As usual, when we head back to the Erie area our schedules are filled to the brim with visits and activities.

Yesterday we started out with some breakfast at the hotel, then headed out to Peek N Peak in hopes of getting Timothy on skis again. However the weather was too rainy and so instead we just let the kids run around in the great indoor playground they have (I'm not sure why more vacation spots don't have a place like that, it was great for passing time during the bad weather).

After that we had a quick lunch and then went to visit my aunt for a bit ... next it was off to my brothers to let the kids play with his grandson. While we were there we all grabbed some pizza and got a little bit of time to catch up before the kids really hit the wall.

We got back to the hotel around 7:30 and I took Timothy to the pool for a little bit while Catherine worked on getting Brady to sleep. After the pool Timothy and I came back and got him ready for bed as well.

Both kids were finally asleep by 9:00 pm and I headed back out to meet up with my brother for a couple of quick drinks.

I was worn out of course though and so we called it a night pretty early. I was back at the hotel and in bed by 11.

This morning we were lucky, the kids slept until about 7:30. Then we got up and did the breakfast thing again.

After breakfast, we came back to the room and got ready to head down to splash lagoon (which is attached to the hotel we stay at; and is in fact one of the main reasons we stay at this hotel when we come into town).

We spent most of the day at the water park playing in one pool area or the next. Around 2:00 we came back up to the room to get some food and take a little break.

We're now getting ready to head out for an early supper and if we get back in time we'll hit the park one more time before bed!

Kevin Marshall - Who's That?

I'm just your basic programmer. I can't spell to save my life, I'm not the greatest story teller, and I often ramble on about nothing. This blog showcases all of that!
