A tangled, mangled mess ... »

Today I spent some time reading through the Factor regular expression source code in hopes of showing some examples around here. However, you'll probably notice a serious lacking of said examples today. And believe it or not, there's a good reason for that.

I didn't figure it all out yet! I know it's hard to believe, but it's going to take me a little more time (and a lot more playing around) before I can drop some Factor regular expression knowledge on you. So hopefully you can sit tight for a little longer.

In the meantime, I also spent a little time weaving a nice little mess in PHP and Javascript today building a new widget (which is not yet finished). While I won't go into too much detail or specifics right now, I will say that meshing PHP and Javascript with AJAX is a lot more fussy than it seems that it should be.

Anyway, in the end, I got the basics of what I want working and now I am just left with cleaning up a few little bits and implementing the background details of my soon-to-be-released widget. You know all that fun detail stuff that is known as 'coding'...speaking of which, guess I better get back to it!
